of Worship

An eclectic mix of traditional carols, choral
selections, contemporary worship songs,
popular holiday favorites, and original songs. It is sure to be a
wonderful evening of
seasonal music and worship. The concert is free and open to the public.
A reception with refreshments will follow the concert and a free-will
offeringn will be
taken to support the For Our Father’s House (Nehemiah 2) building
campaign at MCC.

Music is an important part of our worship. We proclaim our love and praise
of God as well as share in our fellowship with one another through the
outward expression of music and song. A number of music ministry
opportunities are available at MCC, including:

contemporary and traditional selections - including a number of original
songs by members of the church - performed by our church's Choir, Handbell
Choir, Worship Team (Onward), Children's Choir and Congregation! All
proceeds go to supporting MCC's music ministry programs.
The MCC Choir
Rehearsals every Tuesday, 7-8
PM.
Sing on 1st & 3rd Sunday. The Choir is a great place to share
your gift of singing. We prepare a blended collection of music from
traditional hymns and classical anthems to contemporary worship choruses
and Gospel songs. We have a wonderful time of fellowship and prayer every
Tuesday. We also prepare special songs for Christmas, Easter and two
concerts per year. Come to a
rehearsal and try it out!
Handbell Choir Rehearsals
Tuesdays, 7-8 PM, seasonal.
The Handbell Choir is a wonderful way
to engage yourself in the music ministry. This group adds a new dimension
to our worship by accompanying hymns and special music. The group is open
up to 7 players and requires minimal musical skills
(you will be trained
during rehearsals). If interested

Onward
(Worship Team)
Rehearsals
every other Wednesday, 7-9 PM.
Play on 2nd, 3rd & 4th Sunday. Onward is our
contemporary ensemble that leads the worship choruses at the 9:30 AM
service on Sunday mornings. We are seeking an electric guitarist to join the group
as well as orchestral instrumentalists (such as flute,
oboe, trumpet, violin, etc.) to join us on special music. If interested,

Kids of the Kingdom
(Children's Choir)
Rehearsals
and performances TBA.
This children's choir is open to all kids from Kindergarten on up. We
learn simple, fun songs and participate in occasional services, including
Easter Sunday, Children's Sunday and the Christmas Pageant. We are
currently looking for volunteers to assist with leading this group. If interested,
