Two years ago, Pastor Tammilynn asked Bishop Paige if she could come and help his church as they served their community during Mardi Gras. She and Mattie Belle made the trip and had such a great time that last year a larger team went.
This year MCC is excited to be planning to head back to New Orleans during Mardi Gras to help serve again!

MCC is hosting their first community BBQ and YOU are welcome! Come join us for a fun afternoon of games, music and of course, food! We are excited for you to join us. This event is free and will happen rain or shine! We can’t wait to spend the afternoon with you.
What: Prayerwalking is just what it sounds like .. praying onsite while walking.
When: Sunday May 31 st after church.
Where: Starting and ending point is in the upper parking lot.

Time: 11:30am-12:30pm (approximate). We will be pausing along the way to pray.
Distance: 1.5 miles (approximate).
Why: Jesus prepared His way by Prayer (Luke 10:1). So let’s Walk, Pray and experience the Joy that the apostles did as they prepared the way for Jesus in villages and towns. Christians have long practiced prayer walking to focus on the needs of others in homes, schools and businesses, to see them with God’s eyes and heart. God loves to hear concerted prayer. (Matt 18:20).
Where do I sign up: Sign up is not required. Just tell Liz Hartel you’re coming so we don’t leave without you (May 31 st , 11:30am) !
What if I can’t walk: If injury or other reasons prevent you from walking you are encouraged to pray along with the walkers from whatever vantage point you’re at during the time of the walk (11:30-12:30) or later that day or the week.

Annual Budget Meeting will be held after church on April 26th. This meeting is for the members of the church to ask questions and for the treasurer to present the budget prior to the annual meeting which will be held on May 17th.
All members are strongly urged to attend, but attendance is not mandatory.
This year, there will be some possible bylaw changes also presented at this meeting.

IF:One Night is happening in Dallas, TX on February 27, 2026! This is everything you love about IF: Gathering- the worship, connection, community, teaching…all packed into ONE incredible night!

Please remember that MCC does NOT have a stove or oven so you will need to plan accordingly. Crockpots are great options and we will have extension cords.
